Abstract: An automatic pH-value measuring procedure for mineral pulps during floatation pro-cess in ore dressing is described in this paper. It is based upon electrical conductivity prin-ciple. As the ordinary means of pH-determination is difficult to apply in production practice, application of this technique has proved to be more appropriate. This paper pre-sents the working principle, electrical circuits, technical characteristics and experimental data pertaining to this method.
