Abstract: In this paper, an automatic wire bonder is presented. The function of automatic position detection is performed by pattern recognition. In the system the ITV with high stability is developed, and real-time video information is transmitted to the microcomputer by DMA channel. The bonder provides a delection reliability, locating accuracy and speed needed for bonding technology.
