Abstract: A hybrid method for the design of optimal regulators is presented by means of Kamlan optimal regulator and Wonham pole assignment theory. The concept of equivalent Weighing matrix is proposed. In addition the relation between quadratic weights and poles of closed-system, and the problem of multifactorial evaluations for optimal regulations are studied. The trial and error method conventionally used in engineering is also improved.
