The Development of Optimal Heating Patterns for Steel Mill Soaking Pits

摘要: 本文以均热炉的离散状态空间模型和最优控制理论为基础,应用作者所提出的一种处理 带约束条件的最优控制问题的新算法,从理论上求解均热炉最小燃料消耗的最佳加热策略,即 均热炉的最佳温度轨迹. 本文的研究结果经计算机仿真,给出了均热炉操作条件与最佳加热策略的关系和应用最 佳策略所能获得的经济效益.本开发方法可用于其它批量生产过程的最佳控制轨迹的综合. 同时,本文的研究证明作者所开发的最优控制算法可应用于高维、非线性、时变系统最佳控制 轨迹的综合.Abstract: Based on the discrete state space model of the steel mill soaking pits and the new algorithm for dealing with the constrained optimal control proposed by the authors, the optimal heating patterns, i.e., the optimal temperature trajectories, of the soaking pits have been theoretically developed for minimum fuel consumption. The paper presents the relationship between the operational conditions and the optimal heating patterns of the soaking pits, and the potential economical benefits through using the heating patterns developed. The proposed development method in this paper can also be applied to the synthesis of the optimal control algorithms for other bach processes as well as the high-dimensional, non-linear and time-varyling systems.
