Abstract: In this paper, based on the dynamic input-output model with multiple-year lags, a linear,. multi-input, multi-output economic control system is introduced. Using the phase-variable canonical form suggested by Yokoyama, the discrete transfer function with a compact rational structure is obtained. It is shown that this structure may be used to calculate the time sequential value of the mnltivariable economic system conveniently. Finally, some numerical examples are given.
